Gosh, you can get so immersed in something that your world kind of shrinks and you think you are more important that you really are. I am so excited about what blogs can do for business - whether they're a sole trader or a corporate brand - that I forget that there are so many other exciting blogging communities and projects out there. I just came across this site today: Reporters sans frontières - Handbook for bloggers and cyber-dissidents. Be sure to read the section called internet-censor world championship - lol. Inspiring and thought-provoking stuff.
And for bringing it to my attention, I need to credit someone in Malaysia called KianKeat who keeps a blog and has written a brilliant guide on how to set up a blog. It's six months old now and its written from an entirely none commercial perspective, but its still brilliant.











Most of my clients understand the value of building a database, but there are so many ways of doing so, that the choice can be bewildering. The route you choose very much depends on what you want to do with your database once you have it. A simple autoresponder service and a PayPal account, may be all you need.
